The 2023 season drew to a close in November with the annual RCCAOI AGM, where winners were awarded their trophies following a very closely competed 1/8 GT national series.

Over the four rounds the podiums were shared between a number of drivers and it went down to the last 10 minutes in the final round to decide the podiums for 2023 national standings. First place went to Genius driver Clive Connolly with his Gimar powered car, 2nd overall was Bruno Barbosa in his O.S. powered X-ray and the final spot went to Jason Noonan in his Gimar powered Genius.

Jason Noonan is a long time Onroad & Offroad Nitro competitor. He is actively involved in the resurrection of 1/8th GT and GP Onroad racing at St. Anne’s Park in Dublin.
