Annual General Meeting
The Radio Controlled Car Association of Ireland Annual General Meeting will be held in the Pillo Hotel in Ashbourne Co. Meath (A84 KR91) on Saturday 19th October 2024 at 10am sharp.
All members are asked to consider the current rules and make proposals for changes as they see fit. Completed forms should be returned to secretary@rccaoi.com.
Please remember that all current rules are your rules as voted for by the membership and changes to current rules and new rules come from the membership only.
Attached is the proposal form which should be completed and returned on or by Saturday October 5th at the latest.
An agenda will then be compiled.
We invite both members & non-members to attend, but in the interest of order, only members will be allowed to address the meeting and vote on pending issues.
The following committee positions will be made available:
- Chairman
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- 1/8th Onroad Rep
- 1/8th Offroad Rep
- 1/10th Offroad Rep
- Rep for any other class wishing to rejoin as a section.
The minimum requirement for a section to rejoin is for a calendar to be announced, race meetings to be organised, race results to be published (website) and series results to be compiled and published.
We ask members to make their interest in any particular committee position known to the current secretary by return to save time on the day.
Members who have taken part in the 2024 RCCAOI Championships are eligible to apply for entry to the following events at the AGM:
- EFRA 1/8th Nitro Offroad Euro A – Barcelos, Portugal
- EFRA 1/8th Nitro Offroad Euro B – Gussago, Italy
- EFRA 1/8th Nitro Offroad Euro 40+ – HNMC, UK (Controlled Tyre)
- EFRA 1/8th EBuggy Offroad Euro – Valladollid, Spain
- EFRA 1/8th GT/GTe Onroad Euro – Leipzig, Germany (Controlled Tyre)
- EFRA 1/10th Electric Offroad Euro – Hudy Arena, Trencin, Slovakia (Controlled Tyre)
- IFMAR 1/10th EP Offroad World Championships – Sydney, Australia
Awards will be presented to drivers who were successful in their respective 2024 championships at the AGM.
It is hoped that the meeting will finish up by about 1pm.

William White was appointed Secretary of the RCCAOI at the 2022 AGM. He is a 3-time National Champion and has represented Ireland at many International events.
