Dear members, This years Agm will be held on Sunday the 12th of November, at 4pm at the MDL in Navan, Co. Meath. As the membership, this is your opportunity to have a say and propose changes in how the organisation and sections are ran.

AGM Update: Regarding the Associaton AGM, the event will take place on Sunday 23rd at the MDL club house next to the Navan Rc Club Ground, Start time for the meeting will be 4:30pm. This event is open to all members. At this point all of the memebership should have been emailed details for the event along with the Proposals, if for some reason you didnt recieve these details please email into secretary@rccaoi.com.

Dear Rccaoi members,
After some difficulty in securing a venue for this years AGM (Covid), we have finally confirmed the M.D.L. pavillion, adjacent to the Navan track.
The AGM will be held next Sunday the 5th of December at 2:30pm.
You should recieve the agenda and proposals in the coming days.

What an amazing weekend of racing we where treated to at CRCRC. Perfect conditions for round 2 of the Rallycross national series. A massive thanks to the club at CRCRC who took care of everyone and ran a great weekend of racing, thanks to Brendan Dowd who kept the show on the road keeping everyone in check at race control, Martin Coleman, Richard Meaney and the many other clubs members who helped over the weekend. Racing in all classes the was tough the extreme hot weather made it feel like a race in Italy rather then Ireland 
, an ever changing surface made it a challenge for everyone to find the perfect setup.
In 1/8th Ebuggy and Nitro class it ended up as a double podium for William White driving his HB cars to victory after some hard fought battles in both classes.

UPDATE to information pack for this weekend’s National rounds now available.
SATURDAY will be Ebuggy and Truggy
Gates open 7 am and drivers brief will be at 7.45 am , all competitors for this event have been pre booked there is no entry on the day , closing date for entry is FRIDAY 2pm 14th MAY.
The first heat will be off at 8 am and will start with 2 x 7 min controlled practice (this will be stand on your allocated car number), all drivers to bring their own hi viz vest for marshalling (or buy one trackside at a cost of £10). There will then be 3 round of qualifying with 2 to count , 7 mins heats . Points will be awarded for qualifying position . Lunch break will follow . Ebuggy and Truggy will have 2 x. 10 min finals and points will be awarded for both. All finals will be a reverse grid final so if you pole you start at the back . Estimated finish time will be 5pm .
SUNDAY and Nitro buggy will follow the same setup gates open 7 am drivers briefing 7.45 am with first heat of line at 8am . Again it will be stand on your allocated car number and the event is pre booked , no entry on the day . 2x7min practice and 3 x 7 min qualifying with 2 to count . Finals this time will be double sided Xmas tree with the top 20 drivers all having to run a semi finals to make the main event . All finals will be 20 mins with exception of the main final which will be 45mins .. those drivers that go directly to the semi congratulations you may have to marshal twice (all will be explained at drivers briefing ).Again there will be points from qualifying and points from final positions , this should help to eliminate any chance of a draw in the series . Don’t forget marshals your hi viz vest as above if you forget they will be available trackside £10.
Note for both days it is your responsibility to marshal , marshals will not be allowed to leave their posts until relieved by the next guy, failure to do so will result in your fastest time being removed .

**Update** With the latest Irish government announcement regarding cross county travel we are now set to proceed with Round 1 of the Irish National series at Badmcc on May 15th + 16th as planned. Membership for the RCCAOI is available through this site but for those drivers looking to take part note this event will be a pre-registration only. You can find details to pre-book your spot for Ebuggy/Truggy on the Saturday or Rallycross on Sunday by Clicking here .

For 2021 we are running a shorten season and with the like hood of Covid-19 still playing a part in the organizing around the National events. To allow for this the Association and Club representatives have but to gather an alternative format for the season which will allow for more racing over a smaller number of national weekends. We also see the re-introduction of Truggy class for 2021 into the calendar for the season.
