Round 1 – Champions defend from the get-go
The 1/8th RallyX National Season is back in full swing with round 1 having taken place last weekend at BADMCC. On the Saturday, Barkley Abernethy got his title defence off to a great start by winning the Truggy section ahead of Johnny Stroud and Ryan Maney. William White capitalised when Dylan McBurney suffered bad luck to claim the Ebuggy win. Dylan taking second and Colin Whelan taking the final podium step.

In the Nitro Section, Andrew McLean put on a dominant performance to take all three rounds of qualifying. Paul Myles upped his pace in the final to nearly challenge, but Andrew took the well deserved top spot.
