The 1/10th Offroad Championship kicked off in Navan last Sunday – May 26th. There was a chance the meeting would not go ahead at all for various reasons but mainly due to heavy early morning rain.

However, after a delayed start the meeting got underway and by lunchtime the sun was out and the track was drying out. Many of the competitors commented on how fun the track was and it really was well suited to 1/10th scales. Some of the 1/8th racers who were there helping on the day couldn’t get over the speed of the 1/10th – running similar laptimes to the Nitros. All in all a very enjoyable day, with good comradery and tight competition. See you at round 2 at BADMCC next month.

Congratulations to Dylan McBurney taking the 2wd win, seconds was William White, third was Denzell McBurney. 4wd podium was very similar with William White taking the win, Denzel McBurney second and Dylan McBurney taking third.
