Dylan McBurney has done to double at round 1 of the RCCAOI 1/10th Nationals held at the Dublin Model Car Club. This leaves the young man match fit for the EFRA Euros at RHR.

The format of the event was adjusted to allow racing for the smaller than normal field. Dylan took all three rounds of qualifying in both the 2wd & 4wd Modified classes. There were no entrants in either Clubman class.

Denzell McBurney was the second fastest man all day in both classes and secured the second spot on the podium. Colin Whelan overcame a 2wd round 1 non finish to put in a consistent performance securing third – also in both classes.

Thanks to all that participated and to the DMCC organisers who put in 40 man-hours of work to get the place ready for the National – the next round is in Navan on July 16th.
