Dear Members,

On behalf of the RCCAOI we would like to take a moment to thank everyone for their participation so far in this years various National events held across the country during the 2009 season. A special thanks goes out to those members from each club who work at organising and running these race days. With the 2009 season shortly coming to an end, it is fast approaching that time for the Annual General Meeting. Prior to the meeting the Association are looking for your feedback with regards to the following topics.

  1. Rule Changes
  2. European Places

1. With regards to Rule changes these must be made in advance of the AGM and received no later then Wednesday October 14th 2009. Any member proposing a change to the current hand book must contact the Secretary of the RCCAOI in writing/email stating the Rule required to be changed and also stating the change being proposed. Members will be given a list at the AGM of all the proposed changes to the Handbook. All proposals received by the dead line will be voted on at the AGM.

3. The Association is currently taking names for those drivers interested in taking part in European and World events in 2010. Drivers interested will need to contact the RCCAOI Secretary before Wednesday October 14th, stating your name and event you are looking to attend. At the AGM anyone who requested a place must pay a fee of 105 euro for European place or 180 euro for a Worlds place. Places which are not pre-paid will not be looked for at the EFRA AGM. The RCCAOI cannot guarantee a place in any event; if the number of places allocated to Ireland by EFRA is less then the demand then the RCCAOI Committee will allocate places to drivers. Any Driver who does not get a place in the first round, can have there details submitted for a re-allocation or be refunded there deposit.

With regards to the AGM, the proposed date for the AGM is the 18th of October at 1.00pm Sharp. The Venue will be the Goatstown Pub similar to last year. Directions can be found via this link
